The focus of these necklace and earring sets are the beautiful vintage lampwork glass beads.
In the fiery Orange set, the puffed coin lampwork is complimented by vibrant orange glass seed beads, and irridenscent coated acrylic donuts. From there, we used milky white opaque glass and gold filigree rounds, then finished off with gold chain with a gold lobsterclaw clasp.
In the Burgandy set, the lampwork beads are a large glass round and we used vintage style acrylic beads that came from a discarded necklace and have a gray and white marbling with an occasional hint of pink. The finishing touches on this necklace are matte black seed beads and an antiqued gold toggle clasp.
The earrings are gold plated brass fishhook ear wires. The full rounds, as in the Burgandy set, are a heavy bead, which is why we didn't put them in the earrings. The puffed coin of the Orange are a lighter than the full round, but please know that the Orange earrings are at least a medium weight earring.
Vintage Glass Lampwork Necklace Set
All of our earrings are safe from lead and nickel and safe for most ears, including sensitive. However if you have a metal allergy or if you would prefer a different style of earring (for example, a different metal, earring posts versus fishhook), or clasp (toggle versus lobsterclaw or even magnetic!) than as currently designed we do have other options.
