Craft and Wrap Holiday Party

I (Shannon) don't know about you, but I've always found gift wrapping to be a chore, especially during the holidays when there are so many presents (and odd shapes) to wrap!  But any chore is more enjoyable when you turn it into a party!  So, bring wrapping paper to share and wrap presents while making friends and new!  

For anyone who wants to make (or finish up) some last minute handmade treasures, the first part of our party is going to be a continuation from our previous event, the Crafter's Potluck, or your chance to start a quick new project.  If you're a holiday rockstar and already have all your shopping/creating done, feel free to jump into wrapping.  Maybe you'll learn some tips and tricks from fellow attendees.  I know I could use some!

We do ask you at least bring your own wrapping paper and some to share.  We'll certainly be bringing our past years stashes!  And if you're a habitual gift bag or ribbon and bow saver, bring those too!  Let's make our gifts extra festive this year!!

Holiday Movie Watch Party -  We will be starting the party with seasonal holiday music, some traditional, some hilarious parodies, all family friendly.  Mid way through we will switch to showing holiday themed movie.  The movie has yet to be chosen, so please feel free to offer some input!  For each event we create a group chat, (to which you will receive an invitation when you RSVP) so you can stay in touch with us and your new friends specific to this event.  Join the group and let us know your suggestion for the holiday movie!

Cookie Exchange - There's so much about Christmas to love but especially the food!  Share the love by bringing some of your home baked (or store-bought) delicousness for swapping.  We do ask you to label the cookies with name, and list of ingredients (or the recipe) in case of any food allergies.  Bring an extra container for the treats you want to take home.

Also, a word about our seasonal refreshments:  We will have a hot water kettle and cups for self serve tea, hot cocoa, and we have a Keurig for coffee.  We also will have store-bought non-alchohlic eggnog.  It's not Christmas without the nog!
